Safety & Consent Standards
Face-swap tools should only be used for creative work that respects the rights, dignity, and privacy of everyone shown.
Before you upload
- Only upload media that you own or are authorized to use.
- Obtain explicit, prior permission from every identifiable person whose likeness you use.
- Use clear disclosure whenever an edited video could reasonably be mistaken for a real event or statement.
Uses we prohibit
Do not use VisoPop to create or distribute:
- non-consensual face swaps, impersonation, harassment, or defamatory material;
- nudity, pornography, sexualized content, or content involving minors;
- political disinformation, fraud, or deceptive material presented as authentic;
- material that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.
Templates and examples
Templates are creative starting points, not permission to use a person’s likeness or third-party media. Confirm the relevant rights before publishing an output, and do not use a template in a way that could mislead viewers about a real person or event.
Report a concern
To report suspected misuse, a privacy concern, or an intellectual-property issue, email support@swapface.us with the relevant URL or account details and enough context for us to investigate.
